Walter Cooper

Walter Lee Cooper, 99, passed away December 25, 2019 in Alpine, Utah.  He was born November 27, 1920 in De Soto, Missouri to Walter and Thelma H Stone Cooper.  He married Caroline Frances Young on March 28, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple in 1978.

During World War II Walter served in the Army.  When he returned home he lived for many years in Culver City, California.

Survivors include his children: Dona Despain, Linda lee (Richard) Avina, and Richard.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Alpine Fort Canyon Ward,890 North Heritage Hills Drive.  A viewing will be held from 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM at the church prior to the services.  Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery.  Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
