Patti Chalk

August 13, 1934 — November 7, 2019

Patti Jeannine Chalk, 85, passed away November 7, 2019 in Provo, Utah.  She was born August 13, 1934 in Mantua, Utah to Carl Rueben Peterson, Jr. and Ruby Nielsen Peterson.  She was blessed to be raised by a loving father, Gordon Enders, when her mother remarried.  Patti married David Nielson Chalk on January 20, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was the best mom and grandmother. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed doing crafts and keeping a home.  She was an excellent cook and loved entertaining. Patti loved to travel and loved spending time with her friends and “The Crew.” She loved playing games, chatting, and laughing with friends and family.

Patti had a gift for making others feel special and loved. She always reached out to others through letters and phone calls and many felt her encouragement and support. Keeping in touch with those she cherished and loved was a high priority for her.

Patti was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings through out her life and loved serving as a temple worker with David after they had retired. She was a woman of great faith and she looked forward to being reunited with her husband and other family members patiently waiting for her on the other side.

She is survived by her children: Kevin David (Laurie) Chalk, Kathy (Dan) Warren and her son-in-law Jeff Beck, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, Brothers Gordon (Kathy) Enders, Larry (Carol) Enders, Don (Loretta) Enders, Gary (Cheryl) Enders and a sister Kathy Moore.  She is preceded in death by her husband David, her parents Gordon & Ruby Enders, a daughter Debbie Beck, brother-in-law Bill Moore and a grandson David Chalk.

A viewing will be held Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.  A funeral will be held in Escondido, CA on November 23, 2019. Burial will be in the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California.  Please share a memory at andersonmortaury.com.
