Linda married Robert William Lake in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 8, 1968.  Later they moved to Alpine, Utah in December of 1976 where they built a home and raised their family.

Mom loved music and to dance.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas and loved to decorate our home for the holidays.  Mom cooked the best turkey dinner.  She had a wonderful laugh and always wanted to have fun.  She loved to travel and always was able to capture our memories with many pictures of our adventures with family and friends.  Mom always ran into patients she took care of at LDS hospital, they always remembered her as a very kind and compassionate nurse and the exceptional care she gave to her patients.  Family and friends were always welcome into our home as mom loved to have people visit with her.  Her Moto was “Shop till you Drop!”  She was always dressed to the 9’s and never left her house without her hair and makeup done.  She LOVED Chocolate!!!!

Our family would like to thank the members of the Mountainville LDS 2nd Ward and Bishop Nick Greer for always being there for mom especially after our dad passed away.  We would personally like to thank Jennifer and Marty Smith and Diann Conder for their unconditional love, friendship and support for mom and our family throughout the years.  You all will always hold a special place in our hearts and family.

We also would like to thank Dr. Nathan Rainwater, Nurses and Social Workers at American Fork Hospital, they provided mom with compassion, kindness and exceptional care during her final days.
