Jacob Bennett

November 5, 1988 — June 17, 2022

Jacob Daniel Bennett, 33, passed away on June 17, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Corvallis, Oregon to Mason and Angeline Bennett.

Jacob was a renowned tattoo artist and had a passion for his craft. He set himself apart by mastering many tattoo styles and was recognized as 3rd best in state for photo realism. Every tattoo Jacob did was uniquely his own but also true to the vision of the one receiving it. To him your body was a canvas and he made you feel like a work of art.
Jacob was full of life, adventurous and fiercely loyal. Everyone who truly knew Jacob was family to him. He once said, "You know me because you see me." Jacob knew who he was, he was the kind of man who would lift everyone around him. He had a smile that lit up the room. He was so much to so many people; hopelessly romantic, hilariously funny, goal driven and endlessly curious. But also, he was an artist, a teacher, a brother, a son, and a friend. Jacob only got to live a fraction of his life but in that time, he lived more than most.

Jacob is survived by his mother Angeline Bennett, brother Michael Bennett, sister Amanda Anderson, brother-in-law Kyle Anderson, niece Sabriel Anderson, brother David Bennett, brother Thomas Bennett, sister-in-law Bailey Bennett, niece Delilah Bennett, brother Adam Bennett, sister Rachael Bennett, sister Kathryn Crookston, brother-in-law Haggen Crookston, nieces Amelia and Serena Crookston, friend Matt Barboa, friends Harley and Megan Marshall, maternal grandmother Kathleen Lozano, uncles Eric and Robbin Lozano. Jacob is preceded in death by his father Mason Bennett, uncle Chris Lozano, paternal grandparents Marion Bennett and Judy Blischke, maternal grandfather Avelino Lozano.
