We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Lone Peak Chapel
Grant Park, 77, passed away on May 21, 2022, in Monroe, UT.
Grant was born February 28, 1945 in Lehi, UT to Samuel Park and Ethel Wright.
Grant met and married the love of his life, Barbara Jean Kimmel on July 28, 1967 in the Los Angeles Temple for time and all eternity.
Grant was an avid horseman. He loved the rodeo and even participated as a judge in many competitions. He also enjoyed volunteering his time with youth programs, such as 4-H Club. Grant was employed as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years at Cummins Intermountain and Peterbuilt. He also enjoyed classic cars and trucks. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix if he got his hands on it. Grant enjoyed his quiet time too and had a fondness for a good Sunday drive.
Grant was always willing to help anyone. He loved all those he came in contact with. He loved to visit and would talk to anyone who would listen especially about horses. But most of all, he loved his wife, Barbara, their children, and his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Barbara Kimmel Park; their children Robert (Noelle) Park, Rickelle Park, Ronda Thornton, Troy (Roanne) Park; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Grant is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Park and Ethel Wright Park, and a sister, LuDene Park.
