Dale Reynolds

May 1, 1975 — October 31, 2021

Dale Edward Reynolds, son of the late Jay Carroll Reynolds of Provo, UT and Mary Lee Westing Reynolds-Fisher (stepfather Ronny Fisher) of Linden, California , died early Sunday morning, October 31, 2021 leaving a huge hole in the hearts of the many people who knew and loved him. Dale is survived by his wife, Karla Perez Martinez Reynolds, their daughter, Alexis Gabriela Reynolds, 13, both of Culiacan Mexico, and three sons from his previous marriage, Gunner (Alex) Wagenman, 29, of Lehi Utah, Gage (Amber) Reynolds, 23, of Bluffdale Utah, and Bridger Reynolds, 21, of Logan Utah. He had one granddaughter, Lily Mae Reynolds (age 1) and another grandchild on the way. Dale's five surviving siblings are Debi (Bill) Howell of Orlando Florida, Ron (Kay) Reynolds of Mapleton Utah, Rob Reynolds of Apple Valley California, Becky (Troy) Harris of Spanish Fork Utah and Kevin (Tabatha) Reynolds of Lehi Utah. Dale also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who miss him very much.
Dale was one of the hardest working men we knew, but he was also a fun loving guy. He would be quick to jump in and sing with his nieces during an impromptu backyard karaoke night or throw you in the pool or poke a quick joke your way. His smile would light up a room. Dale was also the guy that you could call and he'd drop everything to help and give you the shirt off his back if needed. Dale loved his friends and family intensely but never seemed to understand just how much he was loved in return. He never felt himself worthy of the compliments he was given but receiving them always made him smile. He had too many friends to count, the best of which may have been his friend, Joe Posey.
From an early age, Dale, his brother, Kevin, and Joe were the best of friends and did everything together. They played in the neighborhood until well after dark, camped, and rode their bikes all over the place. As they grew, the bikes turned into motorcycles and side-by-sides, and the camping trips became large weekend events with multiple family members and friends. Dale loved to ride fast and play hard. These are the things we will always remember about Dale:
•   Dale gave awesome bear hugs... Becky remarked that she will miss getting those hugs and hearing Dale say, "I love you, sis."
•   Dale's mom observed that he could fix just about anything even without a manual. He loved to fish and would often do so with his step brother, the late Steven Fisher.
•   Dale's sisters-in-law commented that no matter how bad the situation, Dale would crack a joke and make you laugh. He had a self-deprecating sense of humor and often made jokes at his own expense to make light of serious situations.
•   Dale's friends talked of his generosity and how he was the guy that would buy the meal for the stranger in line behind him, 'just because'.
•   Dale was always there for me and always had my back, said his best friend, Joe.
•   Dale's children were his world and he loved having his boys for those Sunday afternoon bull-sessions in the garage.
As one of his best friends and confidant put it on her Facebook page, "Dale was so generous, loving, caring and always there for anyone; especially his children." He may not have always made the best life choices, but his love for his family and friends was true. Dale was an amazing soul and we are all at a loss for his passing.
Godspeed Dale... we love you to the moon and back.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Jay Carroll Reynolds, on October 31, 2017 and his stepbrother, Steven Fisher, on March 17, 2013.
The Family will be holding a celebration of Dale's life on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Anderson and Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT.
