Claudia Coombs

Claudia Anderson Coombs, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed peacefully May 31, 2019 after a long battle with MDS.

Claudia was born July 5, 1950 to Harold Warren Anderson, and Dona Gay Grant of American Fork, Utah. She married Gilbert Troy Coombs December 11, 2005.

Claudia worked at Jack and Jill Bowling Lanes for 40+ years where she managed the Cafe. If you were lucky enough to have the pleasure of Claudia cooking for you, you knew you were getting some of the best food Utah had to offer. She had many loyal customers who would only eat if Claudia was in the kitchen.

Claudia enjoyed bowling, camping, crafting, karaoke in the car with the grandchildren, a good episode of CSI or Criminal Minds, but most all she loved spending time her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends.

Claudia leaves behind the love of her life and husband Gilbert Troy Coombs, her children, Elliot (Taunya) Webb, Brydger (Anjeanette) Webb, her grandchildren Brayden, Connor, Quyncie, Brylee, Taysia, and Dallyn Webb, Her brothers Edward and Lynn Anderson.

Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kathy, and her grandson Braxton Webb.

A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6-8 pm, and Thursday prior to the service from 10:00 -11:00 am, at Anderson and Son Mortuary. Interment will be at American Fork Cemetery.
