Charles Keith Lewis

July 4, 1952 — September 22, 2019

We are saddened to announce that Charles Keith Lewis passed away on September 22nd, 2019 after losing his long battle to cancer. Born July 4th, 1952 to Ida Baird-Lewis & Charles Lewis.

Keith Lewis was a magnificent man. He was a grandson, son, father, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, grandpa (papa), and even a great grandpa. His family loved and cherished him and all he has done in life. He will be sorely missed.

We are so proud of his accomplishments in life. Everything from Cub Scouts (1960-1962), graduating high school in 1970, touring Europe and playing his accordion as part of the Young Ambassadors (1971), going on a mission to England (1972-1974), starting his first family with 5 beautiful children (1976), marrying the love of his life in 1992 - current day (Debbie Crabtree-Lewis), raising 5 more children and loving them as if they were his own, and becoming the best grandpa and greatest grandparent.

Keith Lewis was an incredibly talented individual. He has been an accordion player and musician for most of his life. He has mastered the art of music. He enjoyed performing, play the accordion, piano, and sing.  He could play almost anything by ear. He has been a professional accordion player for businesses such as Ottavio's and other restaurants. He has played at many weddings, parties, and holiday gatherings.

His hobbies included flying RC planes, photography (when he was younger), watching films, going on drives and walks, telling stories, learning new music, listening to classic rock, and so on. He enjoyed listening to artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, The Mamas & The Papas, Peter Paul & Mary, Beach Boys, and The Doors.

What he enjoyed doing most was spending quality time with his loving wife, children, and grandchildren whom treasured him more than words can express. We are all so honored to have known such an incredible man. May he rest in peace in the arms of his mother and father.
