Anne Pollmann

September 24, 1949 — May 23, 2020

Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and dear Friend unexpectedly returned to the arms of her Heavenly Parents on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

Anne was born on September 24, 1949 in American Fork, Utah to Jean and Maxine Fugal. She lived in Pleasant Grove her entire life. She was proud of her hometown and treasured the friendships developed there. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1967 and was sealed to her high school sweetheart, Ray Dee Pollmann, in the Salt Lake Temple, on Sept 19, 1968.

After completing high school, Anne graduated from cosmetology school. She worked as a hair stylist at Belva’s Beauty Salon for several years. She loved the people she worked with and found great satisfaction in doing hair. It was important to her to retain her cosmetology license throughout her life and she proudly hung it in her home. Although she ended her career as a stylist to begin her career as a full-time mom, style and beauty were hallmarks in her life. Anne had many talents. She loved sewing and created many outfits and costumes for her young children. She was a talented interior decorator. Her home was always beautiful and welcoming. Her Christmas trees were gorgeous and decorated perfectly. She enjoyed tole painting and painted many of the holiday décor items she proudly displayed throughout the years. She used her crafting skills in her numerous church callings and in creating amazing scrapbooks that her family will treasure.

Anne’s best talent was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her heart was filled with love for everyone she met. She loved being a homemaker. She was her children’s number one fan and enjoyed attending events in which they participated. She was so proud of all their accomplishments. Her love for family grew with each marriage and grandchild. Anne valued family above all else.

She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and especially the opportunity to serve as the Stake Young Women’s President. She loved her counselors, leaders, and all the young women she had the opportunity to serve. Anne also served in the Relief Society, Primary, and other organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to heed and follow living Prophets and each one immediately became her new favorite. She often shared her love for the Lord as she counseled with her children and grandchildren.

She will be loved and remembered always. Her larger than life smile, beautiful bright blue eyes, ready listening ear, and unwavering testimony will be sorely missed.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents Jean and Maxine Fugal, father-in-law Donald Pollmann, brother Jean Paul Fugal, nephew Ricky Fugal, and brother-in-law Ed Pollmann. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ray Pollmann; mother-in-law, Jorma (Ben) Johnson; siblings: Gerald (Pat) Fugal, Karen (Glen) Peterson, Colleen (James) Starr; children: Nathan (Lezlee) Pollmann, Andrea (Bradley) May, Jacob (Kallee) Pollmann, Bradley (Cyndi) Pollmann, Melissa (Nathan) Kelly, and twenty-one adoring grandchildren.
