At the beautiful age of 94, Zola Dupass left this earth on November 17, 2025, finally reuniting with the love of her life, Jim.
Born January 7, 1931, in Bingham, Utah, to Jonathan ("Fun") and Mae Bennett, Zola grew surrounded by family, laughter, and a whole lot of spunk. She married Jack Ball, and together they welcomed Jerry and Jamie. Later, she met and fell deeply in love with James Mathew Dupass. Mathew soon followed, completing their family of five.
Zola lived a long, full, love-filled life, and her favorite title of all was Mom and "Gramz". She is the proud mother of Jerry Ball, Jamie (Dan) Walker, and Matt (Cody) Dupass. She adored her grandchildren: Justin Ball, Chad Walker, DJ (Colleen), Channing (Kali), Joshua (Jessica), Jonathan (Kayla), and her one granddaughter, McKenzi (Hyrum) Johnson, who was truly the light of her life. She was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
Zola spent many dedicated years working for the Utah 4th District Court, forming friendships that lasted a lifetime. She loved a good play, always had a book within reach, could outplay most in Bridge, and offered toast as if it were a love language. Zola was a gifted -often hilariously inappropriate- joke teller who never once forgot a punch line. She found purpose in serving others through her membership in the Eagles and Rebekahs and gave countless hours to her community.
After nearly 40 years as a widow, Zola is finally back in the arms of her sweetheart, Jim. Greeting her on the other side are her parents; her brother, John Bennett; her sister, Ada Mortenson; her grandsons, Chad and Joshua; and her great-grandson, Jrayden Dupass. Zola's kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family will live on in every heart she touched.
In place of flowers, please make someone's holiday a little brighter-just as Zola always did.
