Troy Warnick

January 4, 1968 — July 18, 2025

Troy Julian Warnick, known to those who loved him as TJ, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, at the age of 57.

Born on January 4, 1968, TJ spent his life in Utah, where he built a career-and a reputation-as a dedicated worker for the American Fork City Street Department. He was a fixture in the community and took pride in the work he did for his city.

TJ had a sharp, unmistakable sense of humor. He was a world-class smart ass who had a gift for tormenting and entertaining those around him in equal measure. His quick wit and mischievous charm will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He had a deep passion for motorcycles, especially Harleys, and was happiest when he was out riding the open road. Music was another lifelong love, and his tastes were legendary-ranging from Black Sabbath to Echo and the Bunnymen to The Cure. He also adored movies, with The Big Lebowski being a favorite he shared with his late brother Tony. His favorite character of all time was Han Solo-a fitting match for his rebellious spirit and dry humor.

TJ was also a true sports fan at heart, finding joy, comfort, and connection in the games he loved. The Atlanta Braves, the Chargers, and the Detroit Red Wings weren't just teams to him-they were part of his story. He followed them faithfully through every season, celebrating their wins and standing by them through the losses.

TJ is survived by his son Ryan Warnick; his wife Erin Warnick; stepdaughters Alessandra and Emily; his siblings Gina Rockefeller and Daren Warnick; and his children's mother, Kari Villarreal Storrs. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Mycol, his parents Robert and Carol Warnick, and his younger brother Tony.

TJ was a larger-than-life presence who lived on his own terms. He will be deeply loved and missed every single day.
