In memory and in celebration of someone who made our world a brighter and better place. It is with a profound sense of sorrow and loss that we announce the gentle passing of our "T", Taylor John Larson, a remarkable person whose presence enriched us all.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 31, 1980, to his loving parents, Paul and Sharon Larson, this surprise ray of sunshine brought eternal joy to all, especially his older brothers and sister.
T moved with his family at a very young age to American Fork, UT where he grew up, attending American Fork High School graduating in 1998. He was an active student, involved with many things and a proud member of the American Fork High School marching band which allowed him to travel all over the United States.
T made an incredible impact on everyone he encountered throughout his life. He loved his family dearly, had a very close bond with a special group of friends whom he adored, and was fiercely independent.
Professionally, he served as a team lead with American Express, demonstrating unmatched diligence, competence, and commitment. T received multiple awards for both his dedication and service. He absolutely loved to volunteer and spent many years participating in the Sundance Film Festival and even the 2002 Winter Olympics.
A person of grace and resilience, T was a rock to his family and friends, a beacon of hope in trying times, and the joy of our lives, filling us with unconditional love. His legacy lies in the seeds of love, faith, strength, and independence that he sowed and nurtured in the hearts of many.
Those who knew T, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. At the young age of 29, our beloved T was stolen from us by a diagnosis of early onset dementia. After a 14-year battle, he gently passed away at the tender age of 43, surrounded by loved ones on October 15, 2023.
T will be missed everyday by his mother, Sharon Larson, brother Jeff (Robyn), brother Shane (Genevieve), sister LeAnn (Criss), and his loving nieces and nephews.
We know T was greeted by his father, Paul Larson and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.
T's family extends their heartfelt thanks to the health-care professionals at Midtown Manor Care Center, for their many years of loving care and commitment to our T.
As Albert Schweitzer beautifully expressed, "The only thing of importance, when we depart, will be the traces of love we have left behind." T's love remains with us, embedded in our hearts, mirrored in our actions, and reflected in the lives of those he touched.
A graveside service will be held at the American Fork Cemetery on Friday October 20, 2023, at 11am.
