Sue Ann Fullmer, 85, of Highland, Utah, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on September 7, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1940, in St. George, Utah to Edna and Norman Johnson.
Sue lost her father at the age of two, and later her mother married Glenn Hansen. Edna and her three and Glenn and his son settled in Springville, Utah. Later, they added two more children to their family.
Sue could light up a room with her dimples and beautiful smile and countenance. She was an excellent student and had a beautiful singing voice. She was in Acapella Choir and on the cheerleading squad with her little sister at Springville High School.
In 1959, she married Richard Fullmer of Springville. Shortly after starting their family, they moved to Southern California, where they raised three children, Jenny, Teresa and Kevin. Sue's first priority was always her family and she was a loving and devoted mother and wife. Her children were her world and we all adored her.
In 1970 she graduated from beauty school and worked while raising her family. She was very talented. Whether it was her clients, colleagues, friends or neighbors, she was always serving others and they loved and admired her for her fun personality, genuine goodness and kindness.
Sue is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughters Jenny (Jim) Sorenson, and Teresa, her siblings Nadine (Ned) Thorne, Phillip (Carolyn) Hansen, Marcia Hansen and Glenn Hansen, her 3 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin, her brother Ralph and her parents Edna (Glenn) Hansen, and her father Norman Johnson.
Sue was a happy, optimistic and loving person who brought light and joy into this world. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. We take comfort knowing we will be reunited with mom again.
