Stephen Guy Jolley

Stephen Guy Jolley, age 71, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of learning, kindness, and deep devotion to family.

Stephen was born on December 4, 1954, in Price, Utah, to Guy Jolley and Vernetta Shermer. He grew up with a love of learning that would shape the course of his life and career. He graduated from Utah State University in 1976 and later earned his Master’s Degree from Brigham Young University. A lifelong student, Stephen possessed a remarkable breadth of knowledge and a deep curiosity about the world.

Stephen dedicated 45 years to education, impacting countless lives as an English teacher, vice principal, counselor, and principal. He was admired and beloved by students and colleagues alike, known for his wisdom, patience, humor, and genuine care for every student who walked through his door. To many, he was not just an educator, but a mentor and a steady source of encouragement.

Later in life, Stephen found his sweetheart, Camille Anderson. They were married on June 11, 2016, and shared a beautiful life filled with love, companionship, and family.

Outside of his professional life, Stephen embraced simple joys. He loved playing golf, reading, riding e-bikes, traveling, and watching the Weather Channel. Above all, he cherished time with his grandchildren. He was a proud and devoted “Opa,” offering unwavering support, warmth, and love that will be deeply missed.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Camille; his children: Tyler (DeeAnn) Jolley; Hannah (Greg) LeBlanc; Kaitlyn (Dan) Fackrell, and Paige (Sarah) Jolley. Grandchildren: Lucas, and Scarlett. Sister; Marilyn (Terry) Vogrinec. He is also survived by his bonus children: Chris (Jamie) Anderson; Heather (Shane) Young; and Michael (Jessica) Anderson; and his bonus grandchildren: Taylor, Grace, Christopher, Ava, Tate, Ty, Eva, Kennedy, Bennett, and Liv.

He will be remembered for his gentle strength, his passion for education, and the lasting difference he made in the lives of so many.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Anderson & Sons Mortuary. 6141 West 11000 North, Highland Utah 84003 at 11:00am. Viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 AM prior to the service.
