Rosemary Johnson

March 9, 1950 — July 25, 2015

Rosemary Johnson, 65, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015. She was the second of five children, born in Payson, Utah on March 9, 1950 to Clarence DeMar and Doris Haddon Elmer. She married the love of her life, John Johnson, on June 16, 1972.
Rosemary loved nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in her yard. Every spring she couldn't wait for the day her daffodils and crocus would finally blossom, making it a point to show them to anyone who came to the house. Most of the time, when Rosemary was out admiring her flower beds, her dogs would be by her side. Her dogs were her babies and part of the family, and she would pamper and spoil them every chance she had.
Rosemary was a very loving mother to her children and beloved grandmother to her grandchildren. Family was always the most important thing to her. She loved spending time laughing and joking with her kids and grandkids and would sit and talk to them for hours on end, no matter what time of day it was. She always had a way of knowing exactly what you needed to hear and how to make everything better. More than anything, Rosemary adored her husband, John. The two of them were inseparable. The only place she ever wanted to be, was by his side.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Duke (Heidi) Johnson, her daughter, Jodi (Chad) Colledge, seven grandchildren, her mother, and her three sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, and her loving husband, John.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 8:45-9:30 am at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork. (49 East 100 North) Graveside services and internment will follow the viewing at 10:00 am in Lehi City Cemetery. (1100 N. 400 E.)
