Roger Johnson

Roger Johnson, 58, passed away on October 8, 2023, in American Fork, UT.  Roger was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 28, 1965 to Lester Johnson and Karlyn Horton. Roger married Julie Johnson on June 13, 2003 in American Fork, Utah.

Roger had a fun personality and loved to Party. People were drawn to him. He was a jokester and kids loved to be around him. He would never admit it, but he loved being around kids too, especially his grandkids. He was a very proud grandpa. He also had a stubborn streak and tried to be romantic.

He was an excellent mechanic and started working on cars when he just a kid. He loved old cars and classic vehicles, and enjoyed going to car shows. He also enjoyed the good old country songs.

He loved doing things with his family and friends. Friends were considered his family. He loved camping and fishing; an all American dad.

Roger is survived by his wife Julie, his children: Chrystal Johnson, and Teair Williams, 10 grandchildren, his mother Karlyn, his sister Shirla Dean Russo and a brother David Johnson.  Proceeded in death by his daughter Heather Manley and brother Larry Johnson.

There will be a celebration of life Saturday, October 28th from 5-9 PM at the Senior Center, 54 E Main St, American Fork, UT 84003
