Robert Burningham, 80, passed away on December 1, 2022, in Lehi, UT. He was born August 4, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT to Cecil Burningham and Ethel Jensen Burningham. He married Sali Snyder of Denver, Colorado on April 21,1962 in Los Angeles, California. Bob lived the majority of his life in Merced, California and most recently Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Robert loved his family and especially his grandkids. He also loved watching western movies on TV and BYU sports. He used to take his grandkids on field trips and enjoyed going on cruises and traveling. Bob served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a stake clerk for over 25 years, with five different stake presidencies. Despite being in a wheelchair, Bob continued to live life to its fullest. He enjoyed going to activities and performances of his grandkids. In his free time, he loved playing card games. Bob rarely complained even with all of his health problems.  

Robert is survived by his wife, Sali, his children: Steven (Tania), Brenda (Michael) Scott (Amy), Bryan (Oria), and Susie (Stephen), 12 grandkids, and 4 great grandchildren.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings. 

On Wednesday, December 7th, we will have a memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2977 E Saddle Rock Rd, Eagle Mountain, Utah. The service will begin at 11:30am. He wanted his last trip to be in his truck, so at 1:15pm we will honor his wish and he will ride to the cemetery on the back of his truck. The dedication of the gravesite and burial will take place at Eagle Mountain Cemetery located at 4648 N Eagle Mountain Boulevard at 2pm.
