Rebecca Hart

Rebecca Sue Hart, 70, of Orem, Utah passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Provo, Utah. She was born September 21, 1952, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Vance Wilfred Benedict and Myrtle Florence Smith Benedict. She married Charles Allred Hart on January 6, 1981, in the Mesa Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rebecca enjoyed entertaining and being a mom. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She supported her community by teaching music in her children's elementary school classes and volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America. She was an active member of the church and loved studying the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband Charles; children Benjamin (Deborah) Hart, Rachel Hart, Jonathan (Sarah) Hart, Hannah (Ben) Stancliff; 7 grandchildren; and a sister Dixie Tolman. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Thaddaeus Benedict, Rick Benedict, and Jolene Broyles. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 14, 2022, in the Orem Lakeview 4th Ward chapel, 2168 South 140 West, Orem, Utah. She will be buried in the Provo City Cemetery.
