Raeann Peterson

On June 22, 2024, our beloved Raeann Hansen Peterson passed away in American Fork, Utah,after a three-month battle with liver cancer. She was born on September 26, 1959, in Salt Lake City to her parents Ralph J Berge Hansen and Ruth Taylor Hansen. She first married Kelly Kupfer on February 3, 1981. They later divorced. She then married Lamar Peterson on November 10, 1989, in Cottonwood Heights and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple.

Raeann began a career in the banking industry in 1990 and worked for the same bank for over 33years. She was a valuable asset to her coworkers and many long-term customers, who will all miss the service she diligently provided.

Raeann had many hobbies and talents including crafting with her Cricut, knitting, and playing the piano and guitar. Through these activities, she poured her creativity into everything she touched. She was also a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served honorably in many callings.

She is survived by her husband Lamar Peterson, her three children Collett (Ammon) Carter,Holly Kupfer, Cody (Helen) Kupfer, her siblings Robert Hansen, Ronalyn Fallentine, Robyn Hansen, 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, and her stepchildren Matt Peterson and Justin Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ruth Hansen, her sister Rosemari Ridgeway, and her brother Ronald Hansen.

Services to honor Raeann's life will be held at the Mindi Meadows Ward in Riverton. A viewing will take place on June 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on June 28 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The address for these services is 12852 S 3200 W, Riverton, UT.
