**Celebration of Life for Marylin Jones**

It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce the passing of Marylin Merrell Jones, born on July 18, 1949, in St. George, UT, to Clifford and Marie Warnock Merrell. She left this world peacefully on December 3, 2024. She married Ronald Shill Jones in February of 1972 in the Salt Lake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple.

She graduated from BYU in 1971 Cum Laude with a nursing degree. A devoted nurse and a beacon of kindness and care, Marylin had a remarkable ability to nurture those around her, whether at work or during chance meetings. She embraced every opportunity to create lasting friendships, often welcoming guests into her home during the holidays, making family celebrations extra special.

Mary's love for music was another of her gifts. She played piano and organ at church for many years, providing music to set the tone of the meeting. Even as her memory faded, her spirit shone brightly through song, allowing her to harmonize beautifully with hymns and cherished tunes just a week before her passing.

Mary is survived by her beloved daughters, Jeralyn (Lon) Franson and Heather Holmes (Chris Haggard), 7 grandchildren, her siblings: Lexiane Hutchinson, Clint Merrell, Dixie Blackinton, Robert Merrell and Cora Mae Lutz.

In honor of Marylin's life and the joy she brought to so many, we invite you to join us for a public viewing at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM, and again before the funeral service on December 14, 2024, from 9:45-10:45 AM. The funeral service will be held on December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 500 South Main Street, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062.

Marylin's spirit will continue to resonate in our hearts, reminding us to embrace each moment with warmth and compassion.
