Mary Whitman

Mary Margaret Peay Whitman, 69, of American Fork, Utah passed away in Provo, Utah April 13, 2020. Born July 12, 1950 in Provo, Utah. The daughter of Horace Edward Peay and Margaret Woods. She married Robert William Whitman, February 9, 1974 in American Fork, Utah. He preceded her in death January 8, 2008.  Mary loved spending time in her garden, and out on picnics with her family in the mountains. She had unfailing faith and trust in her Heavenly Father. Mary will be fondly remembered for always “thinking with her tongue out” a trait passed on to many family members.

Survivors include: children, Rebecca (Martin) Jensen, Janeena (Korry) Jepperson, Shawn Whitman, David (Jamie) Whitman, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, with another on the way, and her sister Elizabeth Ann Peay. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Robert. Private family services will be held due to the COVID-19 concerns with burial in the Moroni City Cemetery.
