**Obituary for Mala Ella Manuma Iuliano**
With heavy hearts but joyful spirits, we celebrate the life of Mala Ella Manuma Iuliano, born on October 7, 1966 to ViaVia Manuma Jr and Overland Olotoa Manuma in Utulei Hospital in American Samoa. She passed away on June 12, 2026. Mala, who fondly went by Marla, was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her, filling each moment with laughter, joy, and an unwavering positivity that inspired everyone around her.
Marla was a true prayer warrior - her faith ran deep, guiding her through life with grace and integrity. She embodied loyalty and was a living testament to the power of love, always ready to give, forgive, and support those in need. Family was at the very center of her life; she cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was a lively BBQ or a simple gathering, her laughter echoing in every corner.
An enthusiastic cook, Marla delighted in bringing family and friends together around the table. She was also a fierce competitor on the basketball court, where her spirit and enthusiasm shone. Music was another passion, with her heart swaying to oldies and Christian tunes alike. And let's not forget her beloved Korean dramas - a sacred time that required no interruptions!
Marla was a fantastic companion to her husband, overflowing with love and warmth. She was also always eager to share stories about her adored granddaughter to everyone. Her legacy of kindness and laughter will forever brighten our memories.
She is survived by her husband Lutovi'o Iuliano, her children Pauline Iuliano, Lutovi'o Iuliano and his wife Mariah Iuliano and her granddaughter Adira Taimane Iuliano, her sisters Florence Olotoa Su'apaia and Julia Manuma Veavea, and her brother Aaron Tinei Su'a.
