Maria Esther Gomez Guerra de Morales, 50, passed away on January 21, 2021 in Provo, Utah. She was born on October 10, 1970 to Rafael Gomez Orozco and Genny Marlene Guerra Gomez in Mexico City, Mexico. She married Jorge Ignacio Morales Rodriguez civilly on November 23, 1989 in Mexico City, Mexico. They had a wedding in the catholic church on December 9, 1989. They were later sealed on September 18, 1993 in the Mexico City Temple.
Esther loved her grandchildren and her children. Some of her favorite things to do was crocheting clothes and blankets, hosting big parties, cooking, and thrifting at the DI.
She is survived by her husband Jorge, children: Marsha (Josh) Davies, Giovanna (Benjamin) VanDyke and Mitshell (Madison) Morales, 4 granddaughters (KaeLynn Isabel, Emma Micaela, Alice mei, Romi Joy), her mother Genny Guerra, her sisters Maria del Carmen Rojas and Gisela Mercado. She is preceded in death by her father Rafael Gomez Orozco and her brother Daniel Gomez.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11 am (MST) at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. The funeral service will be broadcasted via Zoom. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am both at the mortuary. Ella nacio el 10 de Octubre 1970, hija de Rafael Gomez Orozco y Genny Marlene Guerra Gomez en la ciudad de Mexico. Ella se caso con Jorge Ignacio Morales Rodriguez civilmente el 23 de Noviembre, 1989 en la ciudad de Mexico. Tuvieron su boda en la iglesia católica el 9 de Diciembre, 1989. Y luego se sellaron el 18 de Septiembre 1993 en el templo de la ciudad de Mexico.
Esther tuvo un gran amor para sus nietas y sus hijos. Algunas de sus cosas favoritas de hacer fue tejer cobijas y cocer ropa, tener fiestas grandes, cocinar, y comprar cosas en la tienda de segunda mano.
Los sobrevivientes de la familia son su esposo Jorge, hijos Marsha (Josh) Davies, Giovanna (Benjamin) VanDyke y Mitshell (Madison) Morales, 4 nietas (KaeLynn Isabel, Emma Micaela, Alice mei Marali, Romi Joy), su madre Genny Guerra, sus hermanas Maria Del Carmen Rojas y Gisela Mercado. Ella es precidida en la muerte por su padre Rafael Gomez Orozco y su hermano Daniel Gomez.
