Margaret Ann Isham Minster, 89, passed away peacefully on October 2nd, 2026 in South Jordan, Utah.

Margaret was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on November 16, 1936, to Ernest and Mildred Isham. She completed her schooling in Missoula, Montana. Margaret married the love of her life James Minster on November 23, 1956. They moved to Las Vegas, NV shortly after their marriage.

She was the mother to Kenneth James Minster (Sally) Las Vegas, NV, and Ann Margaret Christensen (Kim), South Jordan UT. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was sealed to her eternal companion in the Las Vegas Temple on January 22, 1994. She loved sharing her testimony of Jesus Christ with others.

Margaret worked hard to help support her family. She was a very talented cook and seamstress which led to an early career as a Home Economist for Nevada Power Co. She also worked as a PBX Operator at the Sahara Hotel, a Court Clerk in Las Vegas Juvenile Court and ended with a lengthy 20+ yr. career working for Clark County Planning Zoning Commissioners.

Later in life Margaret enjoyed ballroom dancing with friends from church, keeping a small garden, sewing and spending time with family and her dog, Rosie. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Jacob Minster, her parents Ernest and Mildred Isham, sisters Phyllis Shardlow and Claire Forsyth, her brother Ernest Isham and her nephew Thomas Shardlow.

The family would like to thank the Country Crossing 2nd Ward for the friendships they made with Margaret and their constant kindness allowing her to stay independent up to her final months.
