Madge Farr

Madge Burgon Anderson Farr, 90, passed away September 14, 2014 in Lehi, Utah. Born May 27, 1924 in Union, Utah to Albert Edward and Bertha Elizabeth Hanson Burgon. She married Jay A Anderson February 28, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away May 7, 1981. She married Deral Winslow Farr on April 8, 1983 in Provo, Utah and he passed away July 10, 1997.
Madge loved the outdoors, especially horseback riding, snowmobiling and spending time at the family cabin. She loved traveling and gardening.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings, but she especially loved working as a temple worker in the Provo and Mt Timpanogos Temples.
She is survived by her children: Charine Johnson, Lon Jay (Carolyn) Anderson, Val B. Anderson, Dixie Lyn (Bryan) Schear, 10 grandchildren, 23 Great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a brother, Glade Burgon.
Preceded in death by two husbands, Jay & Deral, a son, Ren, Son-in-law R. Michael Johnson, Daughter-in-law DeAnna Anderson, her parents, brothers Harold & Vance Burgon, sisters, LaRue Jeppson, Doris Smith, Jean Phelps, Helen Burgon.
Funeral services will be Friday, September19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork Center Stake, 300 North 100 East. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery.
