Lynn R. Hansen

Lynn R. Hansen was born on March 25, 1955, in Provo, UT, to Janet Bonham and Morris Hansen. He returned to his Heavenly Father on June 17, 2026.

Lynn grew up in Orem, UT, where he played sports with his siblings and friends. He graduated from Orem High School in 1973. He enjoyed watching football and basketball. Lynn also loved to garden and do yardwork. His father taught him to weld, and he was able to make a career out of it.

Lynn married Monica Johnson on March 24, 1979, and they had four children. They later divorced. He then met Cindy Bezzant, and they were married on December 10, 1992. They had one child together. Cindy passed away on January 17, 2010.

In July of 2011, Lynn met his sweetheart, Tammy Miller, whose daughter had passed away in June of 2011. They were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on October 4, 2013. He loved his family with all his heart. Lynn served in the presidency of the Heritage Branch and served a mission in Raleigh, NC, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lynn loved the Lord and served Him all his life.

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Cindy, and his daughter, Nicole Domini. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Miller Hansen, and his children: Annalisa Johnson, Spencer (Mandy) Hansen, Joebe (Jarred) Young, Quin (Yu Qi) Hansen, and Hillary (Calvin) Bryant. He is also survived by his beloved brothers and sisters: John (Yvonne), Deneen, Shauna (Dave), Garth (Kelly), and Fayann (Greg), as well as 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends, family and loved ones are invited to gather at a viewing on Tuesday June 23, 2026 from 6-8pm and the Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 24 2026 at 11:00 am with a viewing an hour before.    All services will be held at the American Fork 25th Ward chapel.
