Lauren Renee Holbrook

January 7, 1993 — June 1, 2026

Lauren Renee Holbrook, 33, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2026 following her sixth battle with cancer. Lauren was born January 7, 1993 in Portland, Oregon, the oldest child of Blair and Renee Holbrook. Her life was nothing short of a miracle as her lifelong health challenges started at just four months old and included three heart transplants and cancer five times, all before graduating high school.

Lauren was miraculously healthy for much of her adult life. She was able to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Utah Salt Lake City mission. She earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and received the Brigham Award in 2018 for her legacy of service. She loved her work in corporate Public Relations, which took her to Boston, MA for two years until the pandemic brought her back to Lehi, UT. Boston quickly became one of her favorite places in the world, second only to Cannon Beach, OR.

Lauren loved to play the piano, do puzzles and play board games, travel, and spend time with her family and close friends. She delighted in her role as a fun and generous aunt and loved her daily FaceTime calls to read books with her niece and nephews. She had an immense capacity to love and serve everyone around her. She loved serving as a temple worker and regularly hosted gospel study groups.

Her smile was contagious, her faith inspiring, and her genuine love for others was an example of her Savior. She loved to laugh, radiated light and goodness, and lived life to the fullest. She taught us to look for and expect miracles, and was a testament to the power of prayer. Nothing was more important to her than her family and her testimony of Jesus Christ.

Lauren is survived by her parents, Blair and Renee Holbrook; her sister Rachel Kemsley with husband Bill and their children Parker, Brooke, Preston, and Dallin; and her siblings Megan Holbrook and Nathan Holbrook.

May you forever think of Lauren every time you see a sunset, stand next to the ocean, or take a nap... her favorite things!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Link to Make a Wish
