Laura Ann Quinn, born in North Ridge, California, on June 27, 1966, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, at CommonSpirit Holy Cross Hospital in Highland, surrounded by her loving family.
A Life of Love and Light:
Laura was a devoted wife, a loving mother of six, and a proud grandmother to fourteen incredible grandchildren. Her home was always filled with music, laughter, and the comforting smell of something baking to share. She could often be found dancing or singing along with Donny Osmond, Michael Bublé, or Kenny Loggins. She made everyday moments feel uniquely special and personal.
Her love for animals, especially dogs and horses, was just one expression of her deep sense of care. But her greatest joy came in nurturing others. To many, she was affectionately known as "Mama Quinn," as she was a second mother to countless youth and young adults who found warmth, safety, and wisdom in her presence.
Professionally, Laura worked in customer success at doTERRA, where her genuine kindness and ability to connect with others made a lasting impact. But her truest passion was her faith. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laura served faithfully in many roles, including Sunday School teacher, Primary singing time instructor, and choir member. She loved the scriptures deeply, especially the word "remember." She often used the word remember to encourage her children and others to stay rooted in the goodness of God and the lessons of the past.
Laura's testimony of Jesus Christ was the guiding force of her life. She didn't preach it, she lived it. She never gave up on anyone who had lost their way and always considered them a friend. Her legacy is one of quiet service, unwavering belief, and abundant charity. Her light touched every soul she encountered, and her influence will continue to ripple through generations.
She is survived by her husband Craig; her children, Spencer (Carissa), Rachel (Derek), Paul (Elaina), Jessica (Ricardo), Colleen (Nikki), and Leah (Alex); 14 grandchildren; her parents, Ronald and Charlotte Shumaker; her brother, Brian.
