Laura Ann Van Wagoner Fillmore Brailsford

Our sweet mother returned to our Heavenly Father October 12, 2023 at her home in North Ogden. She was born August 23, 1935 at the Crane Maternity Hospital in Provo, Utah. The daughter of Reed (Tom) Van Wagoner and Floretta Ryan Van Wagoner.

She attended school in American Fork. She married Edgar Joseph Fillmore December 20, 1952 in American Fork, and he preceded her in death October 30, 1964. She raised their six children, Joel "Montana" Fillmore, Jenette (Jerry) Harvey, Julie (Jay) Robinson, Jill (Ken) Crosby, Jolene (Sam) Freeman, Jaymie Barker (Rich Steed).

After her children were raised, she met her sweetheart Jim Brailsford. They were married October 14, 1987. He preceded her in death October 28, 1996. She was a lifelong resident of American Fork and worked at Taylor Drug for 20 years. In 2017 she moved to North Ogden.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as the secretary of the Relief Society and the secretary of Junior Sunday School in the American Fork 7th ward. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, her parents, two granddaughters, and her sisters Greta Lewis, Karma Adamson, Earlene Nelson.

She is survived by her children, 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 20, 2023 at 12 Noon in the Alpine City cemetery, 280 North Grove Drive. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Burial in the Alpine cemetery.
