Larry "Kim" Billings

June 5, 1954 — July 7, 2022

Larry “Kim” Billings, 68, lost his long, hard battle with the ravages of diabetes on July 7, 2022 in Orem, Utah. He was born and raised in American Fork, Utah by his loving parents, A.C. (AI) and Bertha Billings.

He loved John Wayne and was proud to be an American. He was a member of the National Guard 1457 Engineers in American Fork. He went on to have a career as a heavy equipment mechanic. He also ran his own auction company for heavy equipment.

Kim loved camping, tinkering, fixing all types of items. He could fix any kind of machine and came to his brother’s rescue many times.

One of the things he loved the most was his 1984 GMC truck. He had pictures of it hanging on his wall the way most of us hang pictures of our children.

He is survived by his siblings: Janice Park, Stephen (Brenda) Billings, Brent (Carol) Billings, Sherri Jones, Tracy Billings and Amber DeRossett, who he loved like a daughter. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.

As per his request a private family graveside service will be held where he will be laid to rest next to his Mother who he loved dearly. A short viewing will precede the service July 13, 2022 from 9:00 – 9:30 AM at the Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Mortuary, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland, UT.

Please share a memory on Kim’s tribute wall.
