Kristina Lyn Pledger Sorensen

Kristina Lyn Sorensen passed away on May 26, 2024 in Gunnison, Utah where she was currently residing and living with
Frankie Mann. She was born May 17, 1983 She is the daughter of Charles V. Pledger (deceased) and Linda L. Pledger,
still living.

She has lived and worked in Sanpete County for a number of years. Before moving to Sanpete County, she lived in
Vernal, Utah and was a cook at the Brewhouse. She was a very good cook and would often state "You've got to put a
little love into your cooking for it to really taste good." She was very talented and insightful in the performance of jobs
she held while working in Sanpete County. She was never afraid of hard work and getting the job done. Kristina was a
beautiful, witty, good natured, kind person, and very much loved by everyone. She will be missed dearly by family and
good friends close to her.

Kristina married Colby Steve Sorensen on June 11,2005. They had a son named Colby Joshua Sorensen, now 17.
They divorced later but have always remained very good friends. Kristina was gifted with another son later after working
in Vernal named Kaleb D. Sorensen, now 15. She loved her sons dearly and was so very proud of them. Also, surviving
siblings are Stephanie Whitney, Denise Chugg, Emily Moffitt, Amanda Uhler, C. Douglas Pledger, and Michael D. Pledger.

Her viewing and funeral will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American
Fork, Utah. A Viewing will be held from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. before the service.  Please share a memory on her tribute wall below.
