It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Julee Rawlins, who left us peacefully on November 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 1, 1949, in Payson, Utah to Allan P. Haycock and Sherel Christensen Haycock, she married the love of her life, Douglas Kent Rawlins. Julee spent her life in vibrant service to her family and community, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by countless loved ones.
Julee was the heart of our family. A devoted wife to her husband, Douglas, and a deeply loving mother and grandmother, she carried those roles with joy and pride. Her warmth filled every part of family life, from her Sunday dinners—where laughter always found its way to the table—to the thoughtful gifts she shared with loved ones and neighbors, reminding us all what kindness looked like in action.
Julee loved listening to music, shopping, and finding ways to lift others. She was a free spirit, a natural hugger, and a friend who could brighten any room with her presence. Serving in the temple brought her comfort and meaning, and she cherished the peace she found there.
Julee also had an eye for beauty and a sense of style that felt effortless. She loved beautiful things and took pride in her appearance, carrying herself with a grace that made her stand out. Traditions meant a great deal to her—family gatherings, holiday rituals, and the small touches that made moments feel special. These traditions will continue to live on because of the care she put into them.
Her laughter echoed in the sun-drenched streets of California, where she lived twice—first in San Diego and later in Sacramento. Her love of sunshine matched her love of flowers, especially lilies and orchids. Her favorite colors, pink and red, reflected the joy she brought into the lives around her. She also held a special place in her heart for “Hearts Day,” her favorite holiday, where love and connection took center stage.
Julee is survived by her husband, Douglas; her children, Krista (Chris) Robins, Kent (Emily) Rawlins, and Marc (Megan) Rawlins; and her grandchildren, Barett Robertson, Jaxson Rawlins, Max Rawlins, Tanner Rawlins, Easton Rawlins, Stella Rawlins, and Lydia Rawlins. She is also survived by her mother, Sherel, and her brother Gregg. She was preceded in death by her father, Bud.
A public viewing will be held on December 11, 2025, from 9:45–10:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Both will take place at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 750 West 4050 North, Lehi, UT 84043, where friends and family will gather to share memories, laughter, and tears as we honor her life.
As we reflect on Julee’s time with us, may we carry forward her generosity, her love, and the warmth she shared so freely. Her presence shaped our family, and her spirit will continue to light our way.
