Judy Brown

Judy Lynn Brown (Neilson), aged 76 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2024, after a sudden battle with cancer. Born on November 20, 1947, in Murray, Utah, she was a lifelong resident of Utah, spending here final years in American Fork.

Judy graduated from Bingham High School and enjoyed her time working at Timp Valley Floral in American Fork, where her artistic talents and warm personality were cherished by both colleagues and customers. She was and active member of the American Fork 19th ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, participating full in her community and church activities.

Beyond her professional an spiritual life, Judy had a passion for music and sports. She loved playing games, singing songs, and was a self taught piano player. In her early years, Judy was also a fierce racquetball player. Her zest for life and joyful spirit were evident in all she did and touched the lives of many.

Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Norman Brown and their children: Cary (Heather) Brown, Clint (Tricia) Brown, Misty (James) Hart, Tami (Dan) Holt, and Chad Brown, all of who have fond memories of her love and guidance. She was a proud grandmother to Cameron (Melisa), Tristin (James), Paige (Jesse), Tarren (Anne), Bree (Cody), William, Aurora, Jaden Rylen Gavin and Payton, and a great-grandmother to Bailey, Makaylah, Caleb, Jaxon, Lyla, Robert, Carson, Ledger, Cazden,and Maisy Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Olive Neilson, and her infant daughter, Debra Ann Brown.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at 12 Noon in the American Fork 19th Ward, 1305 North 100 East, American Fork, Utah 84003. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 AM prior to the services. Please share a message in Judy's guestbook.
