Jon Palmer Barton married Marilyn Springer October 12th

Children: Russell Jon (Heather) Rebecca Jane (Terry) and Deborah Lyn - 9 grandchildren & 17 great

grandchildren, Foster children Irma, Robert, Juanita, Connie and Susie

Education: Graduated from Ogden High School-1959 attended Weber State College, AA Degree from Highline Community College - Physics-1972

Occupation: Quality Assurance Administrator 40 years for Boeing CO. Jon called Marilyn everyday at 9AM to tell her "I Love You"

Church Service: High Priest Group Leader, High Councilor, Bishop, Stake Presidency, Emergency Preparedness Teacher, Sunday School President, Seminary Teacher, Teacher for Temple Preparation Class, Service Missionary for Strengthening Marriage and LDS 12 Step Addiction Recovery Program, Full Ordinance worker in the Payson Temple

Community: A Precinct Committeeman Military Service: Member of the Utah US Army National Guard

Lived: Ogden Utah, Roy UT, Sunset UT, Cheyenne WY, Rapid City S.D. Minot N.D. Renton WA. Branston UK, Spanish Fork UT. Alpine UT and Payson UT

Jon enjoyed traveling and exploring in many countries MOST OF ALL he enjoyed his family /friends at the end of life, the ROCKER WAS HIS FAVORITE CHAIR IN THE SUNSHINE - We will miss his gentle quiet ways, his wit and 'dad jokes.' He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ to the very end. We love you daddy and Grandpa.
