John Hutchings Jr

John Hutchings Jr., 72, passed away on November 16, 2022, in American Fork, UT. He was born in Lehi, UT to John and Madge Hutchings. John married Elaine Phillips on March 11, 1971 in American Fork.

John worked for Geneva Steel for 28 years and always will be remembered by his coworkers as "Animal".  John was mostly a quiet man.   He loved riding horses and the outdoors. He was a hard worker who always had a project going in his garage.

John is survived by his wife Elaine; his children, Jetta Dringle and John (Tracie) Hutchings; 6 grandchildren, Rett Messersmith, Ashley (Levi) Street, Saige Hutchings, Jake (Madison) Hutchings, Ridge Hutchings, and Parker Hutchings; 2 great grandchildren Illa and Loujean Street; John is also survived by his siblings, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

The Graveside Service for John Hutchings will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street.
