JoAnne was a vibrant spirit who had a passion for many things. She loved getting lost in a good book, indulged in sewing, and nurtured her gardens with care. Her love for golf and skiing kept her active in her youth, while her passion for tracing family history connected her to her roots and heritage.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Pamela (Jeff) Shearer, Oran Rooks, Jackson (Christie Kinneman) Rooks, and Jason (Julie) Rooks. JoAnne also leaves behind 14 adoring grandchildren and five wonderful great-grandchildren who will carry her legacy forward.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and her siblings, Eleanore Perry and Nelson Perry.
To honor JoAnne's life and legacy, graveside services will be held in the Riverside Thomas Cemetery in Thomas, Idaho, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable journey. Further details will be shared in the coming days.
Though she has left this earthly realm, JoAnne's spirit, warmth, and enthusiasm for life will remain etched in our memories. She will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
