Our Beautiful Jeanne passed peacefully this morning after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She is now in the arms of her beloved daughter Lindsey and father Walter. It is surely the most exultant reunion one could possibly imagine!
Everyone that knew her will miss the loving spirit she always showed toward all she met. Her beauty extended past her lovely exterior to a heart filled with love, compassion and service. With an infectious laugh, she could lift the spirits of any gathering.
Jeanne took great joy in her children and grandchildren. She rejoiced in their accomplishments and cherished the time she could spend with them. Each knew they were loved deeply by her and looked forward to spending time with Grandma Jeanne.
Fishing and camping were here favorite pastimes. There was always a big smile and palpable excitement whenever she was on the boat fishing or just spending time at the lake. Her final weekend was spent in the company of her family at Bear Lake. Her experience there capped off her earthly existence in the only way she would want it.
Married to Kent Swenson for 35 years, she built a family with love and tireless effort. She often expressed how blessed she felt; stating that her favorite hymn was “Because I have Been Given Much.” Life was good in so many ways. With wonderful children, great neighbors and loyal friends; life was good – most of the time.
Jeanne is survived by: Kent – husband, Shawn – son, Erik – son, Bonnie – mother, Denise – sister, Jim – brother and Karen - sister.
