Janice Walker Fuller passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 1, 1934, within the scenic boundaries of Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Janice was welcomed by her brothers Alan and Lee. She spent her early childhood in Utah's national parks, where her father, Thomas Arnell Walker, worked and her mother, Lucile Allen Walker, taught school.
She graduated from American Fork High School in 1952 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 1956. That same year, she met Roger Fuller at a serviceman's dance in California. They married in Bamberg, Germany, on September 5, 1957, and were sealed in the Bern Switzerland Temple the following day.
Janice and Roger built a life filled with love, faith, and service. They raised their four children-Lianna, Blair, Alison, and Erik-across Utah, Colorado, and New Jersey. Janice was deeply committed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Relief Society president at both ward and stake levels, and in many other teaching and leadership roles. She was a talented quilter, costume designer, and lifelong learner with a passion for reading, art, and service.
In retirement, Janice and Roger returned to Utah and served five missions: two in the Swedish Temple and two in Finland, where they served both as Mission Leaders in the Helsinki Finland Mission and in the Finland Temple. They also served together in the presidency of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Her legacy of faith, creativity, and devotion continues through her posterity.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; children Lianna, Blair (Karen), Alison, and Erik (Jana); 18 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lucile Walker and brothers Alan, Lee, and Merlin.
