It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Hunsaker-Becker on August 6, 2025, in Provo, Utah, at the age of 70. Born on August 3, 1955, in American Fork, Utah to James Shelley and Claudeen Nelson. Jane lived a life filled with love, devotion, and joy that will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind.

Jane was a beloved mother, grandmother,and great grandmother whose greatest joy was being a Nana to her family. With the patience of a saint, she embraced her role as a guiding force, always striving to make life the best it could be for everyone around her. Jane's commitment to family was unwavering; she dedicated her life to supporting and nurturing her loved ones.

A strong woman of deep faith, Jane was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing strength and guidance as she navigated her journey through life. She has a strong testimony of the gospel and teachings and is always willing to share with others how it has impacted her life and the miracles she has experienced as a result of her faith.

She created a magical and festive atmosphere during the holidays but especially Christmas, filling her home with love and warmth that will be remembered fondly by all who celebrated with her. She always had a positive and cheerful disposition, finding silver linings and joy in even the toughest of days.

In addition to her cherished family role, Jane enjoyed gardening and being in the sunshine. She found peace and satisfaction in nurturing life, cultivating not only plants but also the bonds she shared with her family and friends.

Jane's legacy of love, kindness, and perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her children Kimberly Martinez, Kory Hunsaker, her grandkids Brianna (Dom) Martinez, Kailla (Lafi) Martinez, Maddox Martinez, Shon Hunsaker, Soren Hunsaker, Sullivan Hunsaker, Great grandkids Lafi III, Jorja, Brooks, and Symone, her ex husband and dear friend, Jon Hunsaker and a brother James Sorenson. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Linda.

A Graveside Service will be held on August 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street, American Fork, UT 84003. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork from 8:45-9:45 AM. Jane will be laid to rest at American Fork Cemetery.
