It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Michael Kennedy.
Jim left this world peacefully on June 12, 2024 in his home surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 80. Jim was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend whose memory will forever be held in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jim was born and grew up in Southern, CA, the first of five children born to Veronica (Vera) Hensel and Robert Kennedy. He has four siblings, John, Kathleen (Kathy), Dennis, Roberta (Robin). Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dennis, his son John, and his second wife Andrea.
Professionally Jim was a plumbing contractor. He enjoyed working side by side with his sons and also teaching plumbing professionally. Jim had a passion for family history and temple work.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Ann and her children Chuck, Truley, Amey, Matt, Kevin, Bradley, Luis, and Shannon; Jim’s children, Timothy (Tim), Rodney (Rod), Tyler, Christi, Cari, Trisha, and their mother Linda Fallis; Andrea’s children Sindi and Melonie; his 40 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Jim's legacy is one of love for his family, genuine kindness, and strong work ethic. He will be deeply missed, but he will be remembered lovingly by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life for Jim on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 165 N 350 W, American Fork, UT 84003.
