Howard M Reese, age 67, of American Fork, Utah, passed away on June 26, 2025. A loving father, grandfather, and friend, Howard's presence and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on May 31, 1958, Howard spent his life in service to those he loved, always offering a steady hand, a kind word, or a listening ear. He graduated from American Fork High School in 1976. As a young man, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines - an experience that deepened his faith and shaped his lifelong dedication to others.

Howard was a skilled carpenter who took pride in building and creating with his hands. Whether it was crafting furniture, helping with home projects, or teaching others, he brought care and craftsmanship to everything he touched.

He was also an avid fisherman, happiest with a line in the water and nature all around him. Those quiet moments by the river or lake were where he found peace and joy - often sharing that love with his children and grandchildren.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Nancy Reese, and his beloved grandson, Parker Reese.

He is survived by his daughter, Randilynn Kramer, and his sons, Cody and Alex Reese. Howard leaves behind his former wife and lifelong friend, Shaeann Reese, as well as his siblings Lynn, Ann, Robert, and Bart. He was a proud grandfather to six cherished grandchildren: Aubrey, Brayden, Connor, Jemma, Aurora, and Levi. He also leaves behind his children's spouses, Gregg Kramer, McKell Reese, and Rachel Reese, who shared in the love and joy of his family.

Howard's legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and memories he created with family and friends. His deep love for the outdoors and his unwavering care for those closest to him will not be forgotten.

A service in his honor will be held at Anderson and Sons Mortuary on July 21st at 10 am A private family gathering will directly proceed at the American Fork Cemetery. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to spend time with loved ones or cast a fishing line in his memory - just as Howard would have done.
