Harold Park

November 29, 1946 — September 18, 2018

Harold Park Jr. of American Fork, Utah, returned home to Heavenly Father on September 18, 2018 at the age of 72.
Harold was born in Napa, California on November 29, 1946 to Sarah Emma Brown and Harold Park Sr.  His family moved to Fairfield, Utah where he met and later married Alona Hansen in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they have celebrated 56 years, and an eternal love affair that was known to bring envy to anyone they encountered.
Harold was a talented "jack of all trades". He received his degree from Utah Trade Tech (Utah Valley University) in 1966 in Electronics and worked for Tooele Army Depot for 43 years.
Harold was a respected Sergeant for the Utah Army reserves and National Guard of which he dedicated 22 years of service and over 44 weeks 250 weekends to the honorable Green Barret, Special Forces, and Reserves.
Harold lived his married life for a short time in Tooele, Utah and the remaining in American Fork, Utah.  He is survived by his wife Alona Park, his children: Christopher Harold Park, Adam Harold (Patrice) Park, and Jeanna (Chad) Park Carter; his siblings Marie (Larry) Cook, David A. (Jeri) Hansen, Ellen (Clair) Harmon, Anita (Bruce) Turnbloom, 12 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers Charlie Park, James D. Park, Patrick Park, and Michael Park.
A short viewing and services will be held in his honor at Anderson and Sons Mortuary located at 49 East 100 North this Saturday September 22, 2018. The viewing will begin at 9:45am with funeral services at 11:00 am. Harold will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
