Gregory Lowell Thomson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Lowell Thomson, who left this world peacefully due to natural causes on October 6, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on April 2, 1946, to Lowell Dee Thomson and Ruth Elaine Morley Thomson in Eureka, California.  Greg lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a love of storytelling.

Greg was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Alice Jeanne Thomson, and a caring father to his children: Jeanne, Jessica (Frank) White, Kim (Azaneth) Thomson, Monica (Gabe) Foltz, , Jason , (Michelle)Thomson, Amy (Zach) Evans, Mikel (Alex) Thomson. He was a proud family man, fiercely loyal to those he loved, and had a big heart that shone through his gruff exterior. He had a love for his many grandkids.

A talented cableman in the construction industry, Greg took pride in his work, often reflecting his industrious spirit in all aspects of life. He had a passion for gardening, frequently tending to the garden out back, and loved making salsa from his fresh produce. A true puzzle enthusiast, he often engaged in various hobbies that showcased his intelligence and creativity. 

In addition to his many interests, Greg loved to share his experiences with friends and family. He had a knack for writing and storytelling, always eager to share his insights with others

A public viewing will take place on October 20, 2026, at 9:45 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Lehi 4th Ward, located at 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, UT 84043. Greg will be laid to rest in a burial service on the same day.

Gregory Lowell Thomson will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of loyalty, hard work, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
