Glade Hudson Gordon

Sep 26, 1955 — Oct 13, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glade Hudson Gordon, who left us on October 13, 2026, in Provo, UT. Born on September 26, 1955, in American Fork, UT, Glade was the beloved son of Vern Arthur and Edith Gordon.

Glade was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints his whole life and served a mission in Boston and California. He attended Snow College and BYU.

Glade worked most of his life in retail sales for various companies. He later had a window washing business with his long-time friend Jeanette Higginson and then a vinyl sign business. He was known for his incredible leatherwork skills and could often be found crafting unique pieces that showcased his talent and creativity. As a collector, he loved collecting coins, baseball cards, and toy cars. Music was another passion. Over the years he DJ'd various events and had an extensive CD collection.

Glade leaves behind his son, Ken (Alana) Gordon Brunner, as well as his siblings: Steven (Ruth) Gordon, Marcia (Curtis) Parker, and Peggy (Norman) Rounds, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother-in-law, Norman Rounds.

The family would like to thank his sweetheart, Colleen Hodges, for the love and care she gave to Glade over the last several years.

A celebration of Glade's life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the American Fork 8th Ward Chapel, located at 320 North 100 East, American Fork, UT.
