Gayle Strong

Gayle Strong, 85, passed away on December 16, 2021, in American Fork, Utah.

Gayle was born in American Fork, UT to John Crookson and Edna Nerdin. She married Ted Strong on December 21, 1961 in Provo, Utah.

Gayle was an Air Force veteran. She had a love for gardening and enjoyed the flowers of her labor. Gayle had a talent for, and enjoyed, sewing and painting.

Gayle leaves to cherish her memory her children; Bill (April) Strong, Rose Marie (Steve) Welch, Kenneth Strong, Brian D. Strong; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Gayle is preceded in death by her eternal companion, Ted Strong; her beloved parents John Crookson and Edna Nerdin; and eight siblings, Letha, Deon, Roy, Dorothy, Don, Beth, and Joyce.

The graveside service for Gayle Strong will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at 2:30 PM at American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street. A viewing will be held the same day 12:00-2:00 PM at Anderson and Sons Mortuary in American Fork, 49 East 100 North.
