It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Parke, a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of many. Gary, 62, of American Fork, UT, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2024.
Born in Jamaica, New York to Burley Parke and Dorothy Anderson Parke, Gary grew up surrounded by love and warmth. He was a devoted husband to Dana Curtis Parke and a loving father to his children, Erin and Jordyn Rowland. Gary had a special bond with his grandchildren, Mia, Harley, Khloe, and Tenley.
With a heart full of generosity, Gary dedicated his life to helping others as a Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician in the healthcare industry. His skills and willingness to assist those in need left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Gary's love for fishing and crabbing was infectious, and his zest for life was truly inspiring. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by his loved ones.
Gary is survived by his wife Dana, his children: Erin & Jordyn Rowland, his grandchildren: Mia, Harley, Khloe & Tenley, and a son son from a previous marriage Joshua Parke and a daughter Dakota Chandale Warhurst whom he recently met and her children Lincoln and Lilah, his siblings: Marlyce Anderson, Marvin Parke, Eldon Parke, Don Bosley & Robert Bosley. Gary is preceded in death by his son Wade Rowland, his parents, Burley & Dorothy Parke, and his siblings: Butch Bosley, Karen Matelski & Sis Morrow.
We invite you to join us in honoring Gary's life and legacy at his funeral service on June 4, 2024. The public viewing will take place at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel at 9:45 AM, followed by a heartfelt service at 11:00 AM. Gary will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery at 6200 West 11000 North, Highland, UT 84003.
