Gary Lecki

April 14, 1951 — October 3, 2018

Gary Albert Lecki peacefully passed away on October 3, 2018 surrounded by loved ones and will be missed by all.

He was born on April 14, 1951 to John and Helen Lecki. Gary had an amazing memory dating back to his years in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where he grew up. He endured trauma and trials that should never be brought upon anyone. They did however bring him to Utah where he started melting hearts in 1996. He lived an amazing spirited life and will be forever missed.

To know Gary is to love him. His loss is felt so deeply and personally by each person that knew him. Our hearts were made bigger and we were all made better for knowing him. He will be missed always.

Appreciation is noted for all of those who cared for Gary over the many years of his life. Recently, the incredible care, professionalism, concern, and respect shown to Gary from the staff at Provo Specialty Hospital until his passing is not only appreciated by his loved ones, but we feel written on stone with gratitude in heaven.

He is survived by his immediate family which include his guardians Rosco and Laurel Smith and his brother in kind Ronnie Stone. His family extends to all of those that know, care, and love him. This includes countless individuals who Gary not only knew by name but who were often assigned a unique name or story. This was another amazing way that Gary found to show his love to others.
