Gary Collegde

Gary Donald Colledge (Riptor) passed away peacefully on July 31st 2015 in Payson Utah. He was born on October 14th 1948 in Lehi to Donald and Virginia (Nichols) Colledge.
His first marriage was to Renee Brown on March 21st 1970. They had two boys. He then married Diane Richins September 28th 1973. They had 5 children, and later divorced.
Gary served in the US army during the Vietnam War, receiving 6 purple hearts and 2 Certificates of Valor.
He enjoyed fishing with his grand kids, horseback riding and spending time with his buddies. He was an amazing chef, to the delight of his kids when he shared his recipes. He even dabbled in ice sculptures. He had fun camping with his friends, often admiring the scenery while making friends with the squirrels.
Gary stayed to himself a lot of the time but was always available when friends or family needed anything, watching closely but never very far away. He will always be remembered at the Lasabre where he was a regular, he made many friends there. Impacting so many people in different ways.
He is survived by his 3 sons: Sol Colledge, Brandon Colledge and Jason Colledge, and daughter Jessica (Josh) Woodbeck. He was also blessed with 18 grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. Siblings Donald (Darlene) Colledge, Steve (Raima) Colledge, Shirleen (Bob) Wilkinson, Diane Boren, Roseanne Truijillio and sister in law Chris Colledge.
Proceeded in death by his Parents Donald and Virginia Colledge, his children, Brent Hippach, Melissa Alexander, Stephanie Colledge. Siblings Jay Colledge Ronald Colledge.
A special thanks to the central Utah veterans home and Applegate hospice for taking care of him and his family.
Memorial Services will be held August 15th 2015 11:00 am At the Veterans Memorial Park 1711 south camp Williams Road, Bluffdale Utah 84065 Donations can be made in his name to the veterans of foreign war in his name
