Frances Louise Callender Fowler, 89, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2020 in Highland, Utah at the home of her daughter, Kathleen Jensen.
Frances was born on July 10, 1930 in Anderson, Indiana to Frank and Elsie Callender. She was an active member of the Highland 20th ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an avid genealogist, and spent many hours researching her family history and doing temple work. She was active in service to her community, her family and her church all of her life. She brought eight children into the world but the number of those who considered her a second mother is impossible to count. She loved to cook yet never followed a recipe in her life, but she knew just the right amount of love and flavor to put into everything she made.
Frances was preceded in death by both parents, brother Robert Callender Stephen, and oldest son Gary Fowler. She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey (Carol) Fowler of Herriman, UT, Matthew (Carol) Fowler of Everett, WA, and Jonathan (Christine) Fowler of Ellensburg, WA, and four daughters, Peggy (Curt) Carter of Yakima, WA, Susan Fowler of American Fork, UT, Pamela (Michael) Ellsworth of Mesa, AZ, and Kathleen (Glen) Jensen of Highland, UT. Also, 38 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many loving friends.
