Frances Beasley

Frances Beasley, 84, passed away on July 13, 2022, in American Fork, UT.

Frances was born May 2, 1938 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Leslie Morgan and Theda Blakeman. She grew up in the Hahns Peak area and Phippsburg, Colorado. It was while she was attending high school, that she met her husband, Edmond Ray Beasley. They were married on June 16, 1956 in Phippsburg, Colorado. They lived in Boulder, Colorado while Ray finished his college degree to be a pharmacist. They then moved to American Fork, Utah and raised two children, Raylene and Dennis.

They bought Taylor Drug and worked together for 31 years before selling the store. She worked at the store in many capacities but being a pharmacy technician was her favorite.

Frances was an avid Jazz fan. She loved a good puzzle and enjoyed reading. She liked traveling with Ray and pharmacy friends to many different countries. Most of all though, she loved her family and spending time with them. Her family was the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Edmond Ray Beasley; daughter, Raylene (Dave) Petersen; and son, Dennis (Trish) Beasley. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.


The service for Frances Beasley will be held on Wednesday, July 20th at 11:00 AM at Anderson and Sons Mortuary at 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM.
